  1. You did an excellent job with the discription of events. Thank you for coming from the west coast to the east coast to help celebrate a very special day for Becky. We will be traveling to the west coast soon. Your pics arew great some of the first we have seen.

  2. Peggy,

I thought about you all day Saturday and watched the weather. It was a truly beautiful day for Becky’s wedding. And you got those 15 Bundt cakes done! Amazing. You have always been a wonderful host. Thanks for sharing the pictures. The person writing this did a perfect job capturing the “Rice” Southern Hospitality. Best wishes and may God bless the Bride and Groom!

    Love,
    Doris

  3. Miz Peggy,
You and I walked, talked, and shopped for almost a year for this amazing wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. I was honored to have been a part of it and sharing in Becky’s very special day. I wish her and John much love and happiness. I met some wonderful people in your family and couldn’t have met any nicer people than all of those from Califorina. Becky you are very lucky to have these friends in your life. Chris I loved your tribute to the events of John & Becky’s wedding, it couldn’t have been described better. It was truly Southern Hospitality all the way.
John & Becky may God bless and keep you both!
    Love, Hank, Sue & Wade

  4. Well finally I have figured how to write. Never was too sharp at this. First of all thank you for the invitation, we were so impressed. I had a mental vision of how things would be even down to the music and the wedding music is exactly what I would have chosen. I was sitting next to Becky’s piano teacher, what a delight she was. I wish I had kept the diagram I drew to show Bill the layout of everything and behold it was there. Has my Disney magic suddenly begun to work. It was so emotional for me, seeing Becky as a beautiful assured young woman and to remember how much we shared over the years from the time I first held her when you brought her home until this beautiful day. It held a lot of memories for me, I see Becky sitting on John’s lap on the back porch, she is combing his hair and making bangs over the brow, (no one else would have ever gotten away with that) and he was teaching her the words to Jesus Loves Me. I see her with us in Colorado with her little box camera running hell bent for election to photograph a moose. I see her and Paul going into Canada, Paul was so concerned we would wind up in a Canada jail, the customs official came in and made himself at home in the camper, Finally we got on our way and 10 miles down the road Becky says “Daddy that man left his jacket in the back). So off we went back to the border. Anyway, there are lots of memories in my mind and I hope I will always have them. Love to everyone
